Congratulations Mayor Klaas
The Hermanus Business Chamber congratulates Councillor Archie Klaas on his appointment as the new Executive Mayor of Overstrand Municipality, announced today, 12 May 2025, at a Special Council Meeting in Hermanus.
Mayor Klaas brings with him a wealth of experience from his years of service in both Overstrand and the Overberg District Municipality, where he most recently served as Speaker. As a lifelong resident of Zwelihle, he has a deep understanding of the communities he now leads.
We look forward to working collaboratively with Mayor Klaas and the Overstrand Council to strengthen local economic development, improve service delivery, and drive meaningful progress for businesses and residents alike.
